There is a shocking news for all Sharukh’s and Akshay’s fans. As, we know that Pakistan is a big market for all Bollywood films. Pakistani public are huge fans of Indian films. Hence, at the box office Indian earn a lot of money from Pakistan. But last time you might remember, Salman’s Ek tha Tiger was banned in Pakistan due to which Indian box office lost the business of about18-10 crores. Well on this upcoming Eid, Pakistani board has decided to ban the two upcoming Bollywood movies1Sharukh’s “Chennai Express” and Akshay’s “Once Upon A Time in Mumbai 2” . This is a really shocking news for all Indian movies’ fans.
Tanuj Garg- CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures, says, “Though we have not yet received any official notification from the Pakistani authorities, if this is true, it will surely be really sad. In fact I feel that this is really amazing and bizarre that an industry that thrives on Bollywood films can take such a decision. If you look at the Pakistani market there has been a revival, thanks to Bollywood films. But all the same, if we do receive a notification, we will need to discuss this matter, since you cannot just blackout any film for your indigenous cinema, though you have all the right to revive it through better means.” -
According to Abdul Rashid, he presented the reason as to promote the Pakistani films this Eid. He said Indian film heavily affect the business of Pakistani films. This Eid about 4 Pakistani film have been scheduled to release. So, Pakistani board wants these films to1hit the box office without the competition with Indian Films.
