    Fawad Khan is a very popular Pakistani actor, model and singer. Fawad is most popular for performing in the popular Pakistani movie, Khuda Kay Liye. His performance in the 2010 drama serial, Dastaan was also tremendously popular. Apart from acting, Fawad is also very popular for being the lead singer of the popular Pakistani rock band Entity Paradigm. Fahad acted in a lot of drama serials before rising to the fore, with performances in Jutt and Bond, Satrangi, Dil Daike Jainge and Jeevan Ki Raahon Mei. He has also worked in two telefilms, entitled Kal and Aaj Kuch Na kaho.

    Apart from that, Fawad has modeled for all of the popular fashion houses of Pakistan. However, his most notable performance is still Khuda Kay Liye, for which he also got several awards for Best Actor. Fawad says he was always interested in the media ever since childhood. He is married to Sadaf Fawad Khan, and they have a son named Ayaan.

    Fawad Afzal Khan (Urdu: فواد خان‎; pronounced fəʋaːd̪ xaːn; born 29 November 1981) is a Pakistani actor, singer and model. He is most widely recognized for his performance in the 2007 movie Khuda Kay Liye by Shoaib Mansoor and his widely popular drama aired in 2010, Dastaan and Humsafar in 2011-12. Fawad was also widely known for being the lead singer of Pakistani rock band Entity Paradigm, but he left the band in late 2012 after being more popular as an actor and also to give more time to his acting and modelling career .

    Fawad Afzal Khan was born into a Muslim family in Lahore.[1] He spent his early life in Greece, Manchester and Saudi Arabia and returned to Lahore when he was 12. He completed his A-levels from Lahore Grammar School Johar Town, where he was also made the head-boy.[citation needed] Afterwards, he completed his Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from National University, Lahore.He made his first public appearance in a high school play. The play was directed by his own friend Manal Butt. Fawads performance in the play was so good that Shahzad Anjum (director) got impressed and encouraged Fawad to perform on TV as well. His aim was to study Social Sciences or Law In an interview he said that he was not happy while studying Computer Sciences. Majority of his fans do not know that he is a diabetes patient.He says that He was a hopeless romantic in his teenage and proposed his wife at the age of 17. According to Fawad, the most embarrassing time of his life was his teenage.He learned guitar, bass and drums at the age of 20..[2]Khan married Sadaf Fawad Khan on November 12, 2005. He has a son, Ayaan Khan, who was born in 2008. The family currently reside in Lahore, Pakistan.

    Fawad had been interested in the media business ever since childhood and his introduction into the world of show business was, as he puts it, "quite planned."[3] Khan's first public performance was in a high school play directed by a friend of his, Manal Butt. The play caught the attention of director Shahzad Anjum, who helped Khan into the media world. Khan first found fame when he was 19-years old by playing bumbling spy role in Jutt and Bond which also starred his friend and co-band member, Ahmed Ali Butt.[4] He and Butt started their band, Entity Paradigm, around this time.

    Fawad Khan's first television appearance was in drama Jutt and Bond with his former band member Ahmed Ali Butt in 2000. His first appearance on the big screen was Khuda Ke Liye The role was first offered to Ali Zafar but due to busy schedule, Ali refused.[2] Fawad starred in a number of drama serials until he was finally opted to play the role of Sarmad in the movie Khuda Kay Liye. The film was a great milestone not only for the Pakistani entertainment business, but for Khan as well. When questioned if Fawad would favor stepping into Bollywood, he said "I will only go for it if it Bollywood movie is based on a quality project. Otherwise, Pakistan is my first priority, and I love working for my country."[3]
    In year 2008, Khan appeared in Anjum Shehzad's travel and adventure drama series Satrangi. Khan portrayed the role of an engineering student who hires a mini-bus and takes his six friend to a trip around the country. Khan also wrote and sang the original soundtrack of the drama.[5]
    Fawad has been seen in various commercial advertisements for companies like Olper's, Pepsi and Mobilink Jazz. He has also walked the ramp for designer Muneeb Nawaz and in the following year Khan modeled for clothing brand Levi's Pakistan and fashion designer Ammar Belal.
    In year 2010 Fawad's band, Entity Paradigm, which broke up around 2007,[6] reunited and performed Bolo Bolo in Season 3 of the popular television music series Coke Studio. Later in the year EP also released their breakthrough album Shor Macha in which the title track, with a strong patriotic message, became relatively more popular. Fawad, at the launch of the album, commented on the track, "The message is for people to stop complaining and start acting".[7]
    In the same year Fawad landed a lead role of Hassan beside actress Sanam Baloch who portrayed the role of Bano, in director Haissam Hussain's mega project Dastaan on Hum TV. Fawad stated in telephonic interview with breakfast show, Morning with Hum, that Dastaan was a project that "could not be refused." The serial received a lot of praise from audiences and went on to receive many awards and nominations.[8]
    Fawad's hit drama serial was an adaptation of writer Farhat Ishtiaq's novel, Humsafar. The cast includes Mahira Khan, Atiqa Odho and VJ turned actress Naveen Waqar. Fawad was also set to play lead in another of Farhat Ishtiaq's dramas directed by award-winning director Mehreen Jabbar, Mata-e-Jaan Hai Tu but backed out due to scheduling conflicts. Currently he is working on his next two projects Zindagi Gulzar Hai and Bandhan. Both the serials are produced by MD Productions for Hum TV and will be airing in November and in first quarter of 2013 respectively.
